Understanding your child

Understanding your child is something we all wish to do, whether expecting your first child, or managing your sixth teenager.  The trouble is, parenting can be both an exciting and terrifying prospect with so much to learn and understand.  No two children are the same, nor for that matter are two days with them it would seem. And they certainly don’t come with a personalised user guide.

Understand your child and the key stages they are developing through

Despite this, advice will be coming at you from every angle. This means it can be difficult to know who to turn to for trusted guidance as you make decisions for your child. During this talk I will provide you with knowledge, understanding and support as you learn to recognise how your child is growing and developing.

And the actions you can take to make a real difference to their developments

We will consider the importance of every experience. Firstly by looking at how your child’s brain is connecting and the differences you can make. We will also look at how important emotional stability is and the impact of early relationships on your child. And I will give you the support you need to make a real difference from day one.

This session is taken from our course: What Every Parent Should Know
