Understanding child anxiety

Understanding child anxiety can be a tough one.  Especially when it can be linked to some difficult emotions.  And even more challenging behaviours.

Caring for the physical well-being and safety of your child is a worry for all parents. But at least there are usually clear signs if your child is not well.  What is often more challenging is taking care of their psychological well-being.

How do you protect your child from challenges you cannot see?

Simply because of their age, children will naturally experience feelings of guilt, confusion and a lack of control from time to time.  However, unrecognised or unmanaged, these feelings can become child anxiety and worse.

Before they become an issue that may have deep rooted effects

While the cause and the effects may look quite different, stressful events are a very real part of everyone’s life.  And it is in understanding the nature of child anxiety and helping your child to manage it that this session will look to explore.

This session is taken from our course: The Happy Child
